Master Policies &
Operating Rules
RAVN operates on a foundation of trust, safety, and mutual respect. To effectively scale our community and ensure premium experiences for all members, we strictly enforce this 15-point operating protocol. Ignorance of these rules is not an excuse.
01 Zero-Tolerance Prohibitions
RAVN cooperates fully with local authorities. Engaging in any of the following activities will result in an immediate, permanent, unappealable ban from all networks, revocation of active passes without refund, and potential legal reporting.
Illegal Substances
Possession, consumption, or distribution of illicit substances at any RAVN-sanctioned venue or transport.
Harassment & Assault
Physical violence, verbal abuse, predatory behavior, discrimination, or hate speech toward any member, staff, or vendor.
Pass Forgery
Attempting to duplicate, modify, or screenshot digital passes to sneak non-members into ticketed events.
Financial Fraud
Submitting fake UPI UTR numbers, initiating malicious chargebacks, or exploiting the promo-code engine.
02 Membership Rules & Eligibility
Identity Verification
Membership is an exclusive privilege. RAVN reserves the right to verify your identity using Government or College ID. Falsifying your age, identity, or academic affiliation during registration is grounds for immediate termination.
Dues & Revocation
Annual membership dues are strictly non-refundable. If your membership expires or is revoked due to behavioral violations, your access to the Clubhouse Portal, group chats, and unlisted events will be immediately suspended.
03 The Refund Engine & Cancellations
We pre-book premium venues and catering based on accurate RSVPs. We rely on members honoring their commitments. However, we maintain a clear refund infrastructure if life gets in the way.
The 48-Hour Deadline
To be eligible for a refund, you must initiate a cancellation via the portal at least 48 hours before the event's start time. Cancellations within 48 hours, or "No-shows", will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Execution Flow
1. Initiate
Submit your Ticket ID and UPI Address via the portal.
2. Auto-Revocation
The system instantly burns your QR code and opens the spot for the waitlist.
3. Admin Audit
Finance team verifies the timestamp against the 48-hour rule.
4. Dispatch
Funds are transferred to your UPI within 3-5 business days.
04 Event Conduct & Liability
Punctuality
For logistics-heavy events (buses, theaters), we will not wait for latecomers. Arrive 15 mins early.
Property Damage
We rent premium venues. Members are financially liable for any damage they cause to property.
Dress Code
Adhere to the specified dress code for formal or themed events. Venues may deny entry otherwise.
Leave No Trace
Especially on outdoor trips, you are required to clean up your own trash. Respect the environment.
05 Digital & Social Etiquette
WhatsApp & Community Chats
Our group chats are curated for community building and event coordination. Sending unsolicited self-promotions, spam links, political/religious debates, or messaging members privately without their prior consent is strictly prohibited.
Dynamic Pass Security
Your digital passes generated in the Clubhouse are cryptographic. Do not post screenshots of your QR code publicly or share them. Scanners log IP and timestamps; duplicate entries will result in the original buyer being penalized.
06 Health, Safety & Emergencies
Assumption of Risk & Disclosures
By participating in physical adventures (trekking, camping, sports), members assume all inherent risks. RAVN is not liable for personal injuries. Members are strictly required to:
- Disclose any severe allergies or medical conditions to the Core Team prior to outdoor events.
- Carry their own basic medication (inhalers, epi-pens, etc.).
- Follow all safety instructions given by RAVN Adventure Guides or local authorities.
07 Media, Photography & Content Rights
Consent to be Filmed
RAVN frequently employs professional photographers and media personnel at our events. By attending any RAVN event, you grant implied consent to be photographed or recorded. This media may be used for promotional purposes on our website, social media, and digital vault.
User-Generated Content
If you take photos/videos and share them in the community chats or tag us on social media, you grant RAVN permission to repost and utilize that content. If you require a specific photo of yourself to be taken down, you may contact the Media team.
08 Transportation & Travel Logistics
Chartered Transport
For events utilizing booked buses, seating is unassigned unless otherwise stated. Creating disturbances, distracting the driver, or causing damage to the vehicle will result in the member being removed from the trip at their own expense.
Personal Convoys
When members drive personal vehicles in a RAVN convoy, they are solely responsible for their vehicle's insurance, fuel, and adherence to traffic laws. RAVN bears no liability for accidents or citations incurred during transit.
09 Age Restrictions & Alcohol
RAVN abides by all state and local laws regarding the consumption of alcohol.
- Dry Events: Many of our outdoor adventures and casual meetups are strictly alcohol-free. Bringing alcohol to a dry event is a violation of Article 1.
- Age-Gated Events (21+): For events hosted at licensed bars or clubs, government ID checks are mandatory. Underage members attempting to bypass security will be banned.
- Responsible Consumption: At events where alcohol is permitted, extreme intoxication leading to disorderly conduct will result in the member being escorted out.
10 Guest Policies & Plus-Ones
The "Sponsor" Accountability
Unless explicitly labeled as "Plus-One Friendly", events are exclusively for verified RAVN members. When guests are allowed, they must be registered by a sponsoring member.
11 Brand & Intellectual Property
The "RAVN" name, logo, digital pass designs, and custom software infrastructure are the intellectual property of the founding team. Members may not use the RAVN logo for personal commercial gain, nor may they create unauthorized merchandise, social media accounts, or events using the RAVN brand without written consent from the Core Team.
12 Joining the Core: Volunteers & Admin
RAVN scales through the dedication of its members. We occasionally open internal recruitment.
Event Volunteers
Ad-Hoc Roles
Assist with single events (door scanning, crowd management). Perks include free access and merch.
The Core Team
Admin Access
Handles finances, negotiations, and tech. Requires strict vetting, NDA signing, and holds equity/profit-share eligibility.
13 Dispute Resolution & Grievances
Confidential Reporting
If you experience an issue with another member, vendor, or event safety, you have the right to file a confidential grievance directly to the Core Team via our designated support channels.
Mediation
For non-bannable interpersonal disputes affecting the club environment, RAVN management reserves the right to mandate a mediation session or temporarily suspend the involved parties until the issue is resolved.
